Singular nouns

Singular nounsSingular nouns are pretty straight forward.

A ة shows that the noun is feminine. If there’s no ة, it’s masculine.

Of course, this is Arabic, so this isn’t always true. For example, بنت means girl, which is feminine, even though there’s no ة.

ة is pronounced like the English schwa.
